As a UX Designer on the Scania Smart Dash project, my primary responsibilities include designing the new navigation application and conducting user testing to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
The Smart Dash initiative focuses on digital dashboards in Scania trucks, aiming to enhance safety, intelligence, and intuitiveness for users through thoughtful UX design.
The project involves a multidisciplinary team of approximately 30 designers, including specialists in UX, UI, motion, and sound. We operate in an agile environment, utilizing Jira to effectively structure and manage our work within sprint cycles.
RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Currently, I design intuitive user experiences and interfaces for the vehicle infotainment system, with a focus on the navigation application. My work includes refining designs to elevate usability and aesthetics, conceptualizing on future scenarios, conducting QA and bug verification, and fostering collaboration between cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on goals. From planning and running user testing sessions to analyzing feedback, I turn insights into actionable design improvements.
